UAT AS STANDARD FOR UAV SURVEILLANCE IN UK
Ofcom and the CAA have authorised the use of 978 MHz spectrum for Universal Access Transceivers (UAT) on drones, enabling safety devices that broadcast drone positions to other aircraft and support critical applications like infrastructure inspection. This spectrum, previously shared with outdoor PMSE users, will now be reserved for aeronautical use outdoors, while PMSE users gain access to expanded alternative frequencies. Planevision Systems GmbH supports this development with a UK version of DroneTrack by adding UAT to its capabilities.

DroneTRack UK is supplied as a complete ready-to-install system kit. It comes with 6 independant receivers, integrated bias-tees for active antennas (integrated preamps). DroneTRack can feed into the same display software by CAMBRIDGE PIXEL (option).

UNIFIED DATA FORMATS
PlaneTRack, DroneTRack and VesselTRack systems provide standardized data output formats, enabling seamless integration into shared downstream processing and visualization systems. For example aircraft data can be transmitted to vessel systems in NMEA/IEC format, while vessel data to aircraft systems in ASTERIX format.
